This has been a great year for us as our vision has been manifesting into something beautiful. We’ve made some amazing connections with the community and are gaining momentum that will aid in our efforts to help children and teens in foster care.
We are excited for the coming year to expand on our ideas and our village of supporters. We want to take a moment to thank all of the benevolent people that we've had the pleasure of working with that have embraced us with open arms.
We will continue to bring our passion and expertise to those in our care and their families, these blogs, and in our interactions with the community. With all of the positivity we've experienced and the connections that we've been able to make so far, we are excited for what lies ahead of us. We feel strongly that there is an enlightenment period ahead for bringing more powerful advocacy for children and teens in care that will improve their quality of life in and after care.
Throughout our beginning steps, everyone from the team has come together to tackle difficult tasks and educate ourselves on how to be the best people and caretakers that we can be. We are truly passionate about endorsing positivity and creating worthwhile experiences for everyone involved.
Everything that we have accomplished thus far only inspires us to continue forward with our eyes and hearts set on the teens in our care and their inevitable happiness, wellness, and success. We will recognize their needs and are excited to mentor them through this phase of their lives with the participation of a caring community behind us.
We want to work with those in our care to show them how to seek kind people to surround themselves with while also raising awareness for issues that face them now for the overall benefit of themselves and those that will succeed them in care. It is our hope that we may not only empower them to care for themselves, but embolden them to advocate for others as well.
This year marks the beginning of something great and we predict that 2022 will be even better. With your help, we can accomplish more.

Acquired a family-style home
Hired a Program Director that moved from CO to be with us
Submitted for licensure
Developed meaningful policies and procedures
Designed and launched our website
Launched our blog and social media presence
Held our official 'Casino Night' launch event
Hosted our first supply drive with support from several businesses and community leaders
Began attending community marketplaces to spread awareness and fundraise with Bela Flores Designs
Made many connections with entrepreneurs and philanthropists that share similar goals for the benefit of our community
Featured and promoted work from other vendors that support us
We are just getting started and are very fortunate and appreciative of all of the ongoing encouragement. We could not have come this far without all of you. We can go further together, it takes a village.
