As a teen, she was unexpectedly placed in foster care and immediately became aware of the need for homes and resources for children in care.

Monessa Sims is the Founder of

She has a passion for philanthropy and helping others after having personal experience in foster care.
Evelyn gained experience by working with other non-profits in fundraising & by raising awareness for causes that she believes in,
Evelyn Flores is the founder & CEO
of VDA's Angels.
He earned experience by working in children's behavioral health through the pandemic.
from working and personal experiences, Marco has seen too many kids struggle once they have left care due to a lack of support and resources. He is committed to being a part of the solution.
Marco Martinez is the Program
Director for Village De Amor.
